I have just installed 3ds max 2013 trial for quite a few weeks on my windows 7 64-bit OS. But vray module was not working. Go to option tab-render window, under userpref. vray I had Sub Group as project. And then I have to set the right language options. After I choose OK, I got the error message that the vray module not working. And on my system 64 bit, I have not visited after installation.
Autodesk does include a OS downgrade option in the 3ds Max 7.0 install process which you won't encounter in 3ds Max 8.0 and up. I would suggest going to 3ds max.com they have a good tutorial program that should help you along the way.
Hi, I have tried to downgrade to 3ds max as per the below article, but none of the three methods worked, also when i have tried to install the latest version on my computer, my system shows error. Please help. Thanks
I have tried to downgrade Max to a previous version by uninstalling 8 then reinstalling 7. It didn`t work. I found out that there is no button for that in the menu where you can select a version.
No matter which version you choose, GPUpassthrough will act like your old GPU and detect your cursor, or real-time signs it is available to the 3DS max 2013 application. Setting GPUpassthrough up involves updating a few settings in the 3ds Max 2013 Runtime software and then creating a shortcut to it in the startup folder. A GPU passthrough shortcut is made when you configure GPUpassthrough in the 3D Max 2013 Runtime software. 7211a4ac4a
