Sorry to reply like that, but the 1500 is missing *all* features of the STN model. GPS, Bluetooth sound and sound control, cd write, folder sync, etc. There is no backdoor code or doo-dad in the firmware (unless what I'm calling the \"secret menu\" did that). With no features you don't get any maps.
I just updated the firmware and I have a question about the steering wheel shutdown time. Usually it takes around 5 minutes, but I could see it coming after 3 even. The longer it takes to shut down is the more I'm getting some issue with the front of the steering wheel and the airbag is not going off when I turn on the ignition, and my airbag does not lighten up if I press the button...
Another update: I have a question about the firmware update protocol. I was updating from when I was using the GTCA-1 beta software (not manual UOS). I started with firmware 5020, did the update, and started at firmware 5041. I tried to start from 5041, and it still asked for firmware 5020. Am I missing something?
Thanks for the tip, worked like a charm. After looking some more I realized that the steering wheel shut off is not related to firmware update. It happened to me on Octavia unit. I had this trouble once when swapping wheels. It was caused by that on the other wheel pin 2 was out and I went to another wheel that was pin 2. Firmware was changed by that.
Hi Paul,I ran into the same problem as the previous user - imprecise mapping - when trying to update the maps from no. 31 to no. 37, namely V5. I tried to update the map but not only could I not do it, I also could not start the GPS track (the Allegro is a motorbike and I need V5 or better).
2. This firmware exploit is upon all IPX support devices with the exception of the following: EM Port, DX Series, SmartTV, NE, SE, SmartTV+ SE+NoDVD, TV+, HP, MCs, Wii U, TV+, People brand ot and iff, a couple of other devices, if the HW_Ver.0x01.03x data is not present in the SYSTEM.vde. You will need to replace your Smart TV with a supported device such as flatron, teclast, vt32, etc. If you buy a TV, then you should replace the original firmware. These devices are “future proof” and have no requirement to replace the firmware. 7211a4ac4a
